The Announcement
To access the Professional Courses, an admission audition is required.
To register for the audition, you must carefully read the admission announcement available on this page and fill out the form. Once the form is submitted, an automatic confirmation response will be sent.*
Subsequently, candidates will be contacted by the administration to schedule a time on the chosen day and to provide further information about the audition. We recommend checking your email in the days immediately following the form submission.
Auditions are held online, on the TEAMS platform, and are reserved for aspiring students between the ages of 17 and 30. It is not possible to retake the audition if the examination committee communicates that it has not been passed, but you can try again the following year.
To participate in the audition, candidates are required to perform a theatrical monologue of a maximum duration of 3 minutes of their choice and interpret a poem sent by the school at the time of audition reservation, as indicated in the announcement. In addition, a cold reading of a text proposed by the examination committee will be required on the same day of the audition.
The chosen text can be of any nationality but must be in Italian (not in dialect) and by a well-known and published author. It must also be a theatrical monologue, not from a film, not prose from a novel or a story. If uncertain, you can choose one of the monologues suggested by the School available on this page, in the dedicated section.
During the audition session, interpretive variations on the text or improvisations may be requested at the discretion of the examination committee.
At the end of the audition, the outcome and the necessary information for enrollment in case of passing will be communicated. It may be required to repeat the audition for reasons that will be provided at the end of it. The decision of the committee is final.
